BANNU: Federal Minister Akram Khan Durrani said on Sunday the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had a foreign agenda of promoting western culture in the country.

Speaking at a function where a number of people announced joining the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl, the federal minister said that the statements issued by the PTI members had unveiled the character of Imran Khan.

Without naming Ayesha Gulalai Wazir, the estrange legislator from PTI, Akram Durrani said on the one hand, a woman Member of National Assembly from PTI levelled allegations against the PTI chief while on the other hand the PTI leaders were warning of demolishing her house which was not part of our norms.

The federal minister said the people of Bannu protected the women instead of backing those who talked of pulling down her house prior to any investigation.

Akram Durrani said his party was running a movement throughout the world for spreading the message of Islam and serving the people without any discrimination.

He said some elements were trying to drive a wedge between the Banuchi and Wazir people. He said they gave equal rights to Wazirs. He said several high educational institutions had been set up on the land of Wazirs.
