BANNU (Tribal News Network) 20 December: The district administration of Bannu has recovered substandard engine oil from two godowns and arrested the owners besides sealing the godowns.

Additional Assistant Commissioner Eid Nawaz Sherani led a team which raided the godowns in Goshala Bazaar and recovered substandard engine oil. Mr Sherani said the deputy commissioner had received a message from a citizen on WhatsApp after which they conducted raid on the godowns with the help of police. He said substandard and expired engine oil and a large number of gallons were recovered from two godowns. He said labels of eminent brands and companies were pasted on the substandard engine oil. The owners of these godowns were involved in selling this oil the markets of Bannu and surrounding areas.

The owners of both the godowns have been arrested and further investigations are underway.
